Our series of messages to “kick off” The New Year is called “TRANSFORMERS.” It is amazing how much interest there was in a movie about cars and trucks “transforming” into robots. Though unreal, it was actually a very entertaining movie. As I watched that movie and thought about the idea of Transformers, it occurred to me how Christ-Followers are actually called by God to become TRANSFORMERS! Romans 12:2 commands us to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This is a continual process that requires discipline and diligence to keep “updated.” I wonder  how many Believers in Christ are making very little difference in their world because they have allowed their Transformation to become “out-dated.”

We intentionally began this New Year by talking about Transformation and being Transformers because this needs to be our focus and intention throughout the year! Though I do a terrible job of keeping New Year’s Resolutions, I am RESOLVING to do my very best to be a TRANSFORMER all  year long. Will you make the same resolution?

In this post I am including a short quiz for Believers who really want to make sure their Transformation is up-to-date! If you were in the worship services where we shared these messages, the questions should make sense to you. If you were not in our worship services or if you missed a service, take as much of the quiz as you can. I will write another post in a couple of days with some of the answers. Most of the answers are yours. If you were not able to hear the messages, you can contact our church office (295-1610) and request the messages on CD or DVD.

6. Has God used you as a TRANSFORMER in someone’s life?
