I had the opportunity to get away for a couple of days for some R & R so I am a little behind reporting what happened on Sunday. I truly believed God was going to do something awesome because of what we experienced last weekend through Wednesday night. Let me tell you, not only did God continue to demonstrate His awesome power, He exceeded my expectations. We experienced a tremendous move of God in both worship services. God drew people into His Worship Center and worked mightily in their lives.

One of my dear friends for many years came expressing his desire to “Come Home” (referring to his personal relationship with Christ that he left). A young lady whose life was changed on a youth trip brought her mother to church and asked her to come to the altar and pray with her. A young couple came forward expressing their desire to make Jesus the Lord of their lives, home, etc. Many others knelt down at the altar to give God what He deserves — i.e. Our Best!

We are witnessing a genuine, anointed movement of God in this ministry. Each week we are excited about the changes God is making in families. It is amazing how God begins to work in the life of one person in a family and uses them to “rub off” on  the other members of their family. When we are able to influence one person for Christ — no matter what their age may be — only God knows how far their influence will spread. God is blessing in our children and youth ministries and these “young” disciples are having an influence on their families.

The best is yet to come! I really believe this is true. God is beginning a work that He will complete. I can’t wait to get back to the church each day to hear about the wonderful things God is doing in people’s lives. Even in our staff meeting today everyone was “buzzing” about things they knew that were going on in people’s lives. Incredible!
