Getting Back in the Swing
For those who check to see if I’ve said anything new let me say thanks for checking. I have been absent from blogworld for a few days for some R&R. Last Monday was my birthday and I usually try to spend it fishing (since this is the season when the bass are heading to the shallow waters where amateurs like me can find a few). I caught some fish, ate some fish, slept more than usual — but most important of all, I spent some uninterrupted time with my Master, Jesus Christ! It is good to get away from routines, schedules, etc. to just listen to His sweet voice. And man did He ever speak to my heart. (Many thanks go to a very generous family for allowing me to use their property at the lake. God has really blessed me with some great friends who love to bless others!)
I will write something later on the new series that starts this Sunday! It is going to be fantastic so check later today or tomorrow for the scoop on what’s coming up! Did I mention it is going to be great?
