This Sunday, May 18, is a very special day in the life of our church. We have now been charging full steam ahead with our e3 strategy for four and a half months. Our first “e” stands for “ENGAGE” and primarily involves our Sunday morning “Main Event” Gatherings. We continue to see new people each week coming to our worship gatherings. God continually shows up in our Main Event services in ways that we pray for but are never able to anticipate.

**I WANT TO ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO CONTINUE ‘ENGAGING’ PEOPLE FOR JESUS AND INVITE THEM TO COME EACH SUNDAY!!

The second “e” in our “e3″ Vision Strategy stands for “EQUIP.” Basically, EQUIP Ministries serves as the Central Nervous System of all our ministries. This is the area where we teach, train, provide resources, etc. so that God’s People can fulfill their PURPOSE! Ron Taffer is our Pastor over EQUIP Ministries. He is working hard to put together some Key Leaders who can assist him in the many areas of concentration within EQUIP Ministries.

One of our primary methods of “EQUIPPING” Christ-Followers is through small group studies. We offer small group Bible studies in two semesters each year — Spring and Fall. Then, at various times throughout the year we offer additional opportunities to study God’s Word with others in someone’s home. In the past we have had about 7 or 8 homes opened to accomodate those who participate. This year we are hoping and praying for 20 Home Groups. We want to have at least 150 people involved in the five weeks of Home Groups in June.

That is why this Sunday is so important. Ron Taffer will be preaching a message related to the theme of EQUIP Ministries. We will also give every person in attendance this Sunday an opportunity to go ahead and sign-up to be involved in Home Groups in June. We are expecting God to show up in power and move people closer to Him.
