Tomorrow we begin a 3-Week series highlighting and celebrating our Vision Strategy. We implemented this Strategy for building God’s Kingdom on January 1st, 2008. We shared an update in March and now it is time to once again talk about our plan for reaching as many people as we possibly can with the Good News of Jesus’ salvation.

In today’s complex, hectic world, we need to be as simple as possible in our attempts to carry out our mission. As we promised everyone last November, we are going to focus on just a few areas that we believe God can use to reach people and do those as well as we possibly can. Reviewing our performance throughout the second quarter reveals some areas that need to be changed. While this series will focus on our structure and strategy, we may interject some things that are being discussed now.

I can assure you that your Leaders are constantly praying and seeking God’s direction concerning everything we do. It is a privilege for me to have such a tremendous team of leaders serving in their area of giftedness. I know God has some incredible plans for this special ministry.

Let me encourage you to be at these next 3 “Main Events” (9:15 or 11:00am each week) and, as always, invite someone to come with you. This will be a great opportunity for people to hear what God is leading us to do and how everyone He sends here can contribute to the cause. WE NEED YOU TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

One More Thing: Continue to pray for our San Diego Mission team. We leave in exactly 2 weeks. Pray for some on our mission team who still need to raise their needed funds. Also, pray about helping us with our general financial needs. We still need to raise about $2,000 to pay for the block party and cover other expenses the group will incur like gas in the vans, food for group meals, etc. Thanks.
