Just So You’ll Know
Here are a few observations on worship recently at Washington Avenue:
- God has been showing up in ways you can’t anticipate or misinterpret
- Praise and Worship is an incredible privilege
- People’s lives are changing (noticeably)
- New people continue to come
- Guest Ministry Assistants are AWESOME!!
- Children’s ministry is “Spot-On!”
- Sharing God’s Word has never been more fulfilling and fun! I’m having a Blast!!!
- There’s more room in the second service at 11:00 than there is in the 9:30 service. This is what we hoped for when we started offering Elevate for children during the early service. Now we can really pray, invite, and encourage people who are far from God to come at 11:00.
- Coming soon we will have fresh baked cookies at the welcome center in the main atrium. YUM! YUM! (I picked a bad time to try and lose a few pounds)
- Our people gave sacrificially this past Sunday in a special offering called “I love my Church.” THANK YOU precious Pilgrims
- Did I mention that God has been showing up? This makes all our small efforts achieve some BIG results! To God be ALL the GLORY!
Can’t wait until Sunday. How about you?

It’s an honor and privilege to serve with you! I am amazed at the things God is doing at a time like this. It’s incredible to get to be a part of something God is doing, isn’t it?
Habakkuk 1:5 “Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” This is the same anticipation I sense at WAC each week. Hold on to your fork, the best is yet to come!
God is rocking my world as we speak and it is amazing to see that He is doing the same thing at WAC! Thank you for all you do and your passion to serve a faithful God!
