All Sundays are awesome because, as Christ’s Disciples, we get to gather with our Spiritual family for inspirational worship! Today was extra special because of the great Spiritual Family that meets at Washington Avenue in Greenville, S.C. God sent His Word in power through both the singing and preaching. It was just one of those days when everything was absolutely perfect. Our audio/video techs did everything just right! It is just fun being together when everything works!

I am preparing to go to our Home Group in about an hour. It is just another opportunity to get together with some Fellow Pilgrims and “stretch” each other on this journey through life. Let me encourage you to be faithful to all the opportunities God gives to worship, grow and serve together with other Believers. In a world where we are so disconnected from the people around us, take some time to connect on a deeper level. We call our Home Groups “Connecting Points” because this is the only way to really experience New Testament Christianity. Jesus said that the world would know we belong to Him by the way they see us loving on each other (John 13:35). I hope you will find a group of believers with whom you can grow on a deeper more intimate level.

I know God has some great things reserved for you this week. I pray that you will experience everything He has planned for you. Take some time to reflect on where you are. One thing I realize as I get older is how quickly time passes by and how easily opportunities can escape us. Hug someone you care about; call a family member you haven’t talked to in a long time; stop and listen to the birds sing in the morning! Go ahead, live some of that ABUNDANT LIFE Jesus promises.
